Controllable Shot Clock

Knabe Labs was commissioned to create the controls for detailed replica of a 1950s shot clock matrix for the award-winning film The Cage by Neighborhood Film Works.

In close collaboration with prop master Tim Stevens, Knabe Labs developed a bespoke system that became a pivotal element of the film. This custom-built system featured remote control of the current time and how it counted down. The system had to be simple enouph to be controled by the film crew.
